Returns and Exchanges Policy
You may return or exchange most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g. you received an incorrect or defective item).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item please follow these steps:
- Login to your account and navigate to My Account
- Navigate to the Completed Orders section and click on the Return Item(s) button
- Select the products you want to return using the 'Qty to Return' drop down boxes, and choose the reason of return/exchange (the 'Return Action' and 'Comments' are optional fields)
- Finally, click on 'Submit Return Request'.
We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund/exchange once we've received and processed the returned item.
If a returned/exchanged item is shipped internationally, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS' to avoid any Customs charges. The Local Brands is not responsible for any return Customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
The returned product must be in new condition. If the product is damaged or used in any way then a refund will not be offered. Unfortunately Special Order/Custom items cannot be returned or exchanged unless damaged upon receipt.
If possible, please include contact information with the return, and if sent by recorded delivery please provide us with a tracking number. The Local Brands suggests you get a receipt and a package ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if required. The Local Brands will make a refund of eligible returns. If you paid by invoice we will require a bank account number to process the refund.
